Willow Ridge Gardens is the farm owned by Amanda's aunt and uncle, John and Kim Kovaleski. They have lovingly turned their farm into a virtual Garden of Eden filled with gardens, a koi pond, a restored barn, and breath taking views. Please visit their website at www.willowridgegardens.com for address and directions.

Like we keep saying, this is not your typical wedding. The ceremony will take place in the middle of the party. You should plan on arriving around 6:00 p.m for a cocktail reception. The ceremony will take start at approximately 9:00, which is sunset. After the ceremony, we will have dessert, more cocktails, and dancing in the barn.

No. We are not serving a formal dinner, but there will be food and hearty appetizers aplenty during the entire night. You certainly can eat dinner before you come, but we don't think it will be necessary.

Good question. The weather can be anything in Minnesota/Wisconsin in June. Likely it will not be too hot or too humid. Cross your fingers for one of those perfect Midwest summer days and evenings where it is about 75 degrees with a sun and just a few clouds. It could get a little chilly in the evening.

This is probably not a good idea. Save your stilletos for another night. Most of the party will be outside in the gardens. Unless you are Shauna Sands, you will be much happier in a pair of low shoes or wedges.

We are not dress code type of people. A wedding is a great excuse to get dressed up and buy that new shirt/shoes/dress you've been eyeing, but remember we will be outside, so dress for comfort and fun. Ladies, you may want to consider a wrap for the evening and also see the FAQ above regarding shoes.
We plan on partying into the evening, and Amanda is crossing her fingers for a bon-fire. If you are so inclined, feel free to bring a change of clothes to make yourself more comfortable.

It is up to you. We plan on dancing into the night, but do not expect everyone to stay all evening. As said above, New Richmond is about 45 minutes from Minneapolis. For many guests, driving home will certainly be an option. For others, especially those planning on imbibing, please see the FAQs for Travelers for hotel information as well as the FAQ below regarding shuttles if you need a sober-cab.

Feel free to bring the whole brood. Willow Ridge Gardens is very kid friendly. Please do note the timing of the ceremony as it may conflict with bed time, but the more the merrier.
Same goes for some of you with adult kids who we haven't seen in eons. We may not have mentioned them on the invite, but they are welcome to attend if so inclined. We would love to see everyone. Please make a note on your RSVP as to who is coming.
